My expertise stems from a Master’s degree in biomedical and legal translation, backed by over a decade of practice handling healthcare content and legal documents.
As a CIoL Chartered Linguist in the UK, and a Court-Appointed Expert (CTU) in Italy, and an Italian native speaker, I know that to mitigate risk, a text must be easy to understand and act on.
This is why I’ve focused my ongoing training on plain, informative writing and the neuroscience of reading. That's when I started dismantling and rebuilding sentences, paragraphs, and entire logical structures, fine-tuning information density. The goal: to render complex concepts with pinpoint precision without overloading the reader’s cognitive capacity.
Because a strained reader makes mistakes. Every grey area in a text leads to critical failures, whether it is reader abandonment, legal disputes, or poor adherence to treatment.
This is how SUBSTRATA was born. My job is to help you mitigate interpretative risk by focusing on clarity. Clear communication reduces management time and costs, protects content value, and leads to informed choices. It is an investment that benefits both businesses and readers.
